Welcome to the Spinal Cord Injury, (SCI) Program at Virginia Commonwealth University (VCU) webpage!  VCU provides a complete program of care for persons with SCI and their families.  VCU Health System is one of five Level I Trauma Centers in the Commonwealth of Virginia and the only one in central Virginia. Comprehensiveness, interdisciplinary communication, consumer needs assessments and integration of a continuum of services are important values which have guided program development at VCU.  The VCU system of care continues to develop, and partnerships with local,regional and national rehabilitation agencies.
