VCU Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation
Residency program
The Department of PM&R offers comprehensive medical rehabilitation for individuals with traumatic brain injury, stroke, musculoskeletal injury, spinal cord injury, and neurological illness. Special outpatient clinics for pain management, musculoskeletal and sports medicine, electrodiagnosis and orthotics/prosthetics are available. An interdisciplinary approach is utilized, working closely with physical, occupational, and speech therapy, rehabilitation nursing, psychology, social work, Neurology, Neurosurgery, Orthopedics, and other medical/surgical specialties.
